“Photography is painting with light! The blurs, the spots, those are errors! But the errors are part of it, they give it poetry and turn it into painting. And for that you need as bad a camera as possible! If you want to be famous, you have to do whatever you’re doing worse than anyone else in the whole world.”
Miroslav Tichy
I am a portrait photographer. Over my life I have photographed the world around me. It is a very personal view into my life as a whole. Each photograph is a moment of time in my life, a slice of my past. Each photograph is something I found interesting. The images may not be technically good but something that was important to me at the time. I didn't work as a painter might to create great works of art but share my life to the viewer. You may see these images as childish, because for some of them I was a child. I am trained professionally as a portrait photographer but there is so much more to me than that. I debated about sharing these images with you then I came to the conclusion that as a portrait photographer you only see one side of me, but to truly know me you must know the other half of me. the artistic side.
